What kind of law is fixing of bail bonds?
Would fixing of bail bonds be considered a substantive criminal law, case law, criminal procedural law, civil law, or an administrative law?
Posting bail or bail bonds? Help me out, please?
Hi All, My boyfriend who is my baby's father is in jail right now, and has been since May 23rd. The only possibility of release right now is July 30th if when he goes back to court and the judge DA decides so. It has been so long since he has been home and we are a family so I feel like i'm dying because he's gone. His bail is $2,500 and I do not have this money, nor does anyone in sight. Not even his family. What can I do? How do bail bonds work? Please explain in layman's terms because I am a very simple hahaha
I received a copy of the contract for the bail bonds man i asked if for a print out showing me what i am being?
charged for in small claims court he gives me some mans name and number i call it is an investigation company i asked for a copy of the contract he states that they don't do contracts the only thing he can give me is a copy of a hand written receipt he gave to the bells bonds man showing he was paid is this legal and will it hold up in court.i received a copy from the bail bonds man i asked him for a print out showing the expenses i was being charged for.

Ok, here's what I have so far.A criminal pays a small percentage of his bail, and the bailbondsman woman pays the rest. If the criminal skips out on his court date, the bounty hunter s go after the guy. What am I missing?How does the bailbondsman make a profit if all he does is pay money for a criminal's bail?How much does the bounty hunter get paid?
Bails bond wont give our car back...?
my boyfriend was bailed out about 2 months ago but in order to get out he had to sign over his car to the bail bonds man. 5 days after he was out we had the money to get the car but now the bail bond is saying he cant make any deals with him or take his money in till he talks to my mother in law who doesn't like me and had been dealing with the bonds man while her son was still in jail she and the bonds man made a deal not to give her sons car back because she doesn't want him coming to see me and his kids ANYWAY, the car is under his name and he made the deal with bond man... does the bail bonds man have the rights to refuse the money? does he have the right to keep the car? we have the money and he doesn't want to take it we dont want to lose the car. the man keeps insisting my bf to talk to his mother but she doesnt want to talk about it. i feel as if they are stealing from him. what should we do.. how can we get our car back?????
